Program Overview

The 1000 Clock Hour/79 Quarter Hour Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) Program is designed to produce well balanced therapists that are prepared to interface with adjunct healthcare professionals and be of service to the community. Students transfer 700 hours of basic training to this 1000 hour program. Students then select 300 unduplicated hours from the advanced training programs and/or individual course listings.

 Program Objectives

  • Train massage therapists for entry level employment in specialized fields of massage therapy.
  • Proficiency and competency in specific areas of study.
  • Mastery of advanced bodywork techniques while working with specific populations.

Completion

  • Upon completion of an additional 300 hours of training, students will receive a 1000 Hour certificate in massage therapy training.
  • Completion: 18 months (maximum)
